GRACE

A Note From Grace...

HIII! My name is Grace Palmer. I'm an independent Americana Singer/ Songwriter based out of Burlington, Vermont. I grew up in a small farm town in CT, playing music around Connecticut with my Christian Rock family band. When I graduated high school in 2019, I booked it to Nashville, to find out if I was just 'small-town-good'.

Soon after I arrived, Covid turned the world upside-down, and I found myself in college. I had never imagined I would find such a strong community, lively music scene, and my forever home in the Green Mountains of Vermont. I couldn't have been more grateful to have such an amazing undergrad experience, in such a beautiful state! I graduated in 2024 from St Michaels College with a degree in environmental studies, philosophy, and political science.

My music can be described as the love child between Miley Cyrus and Jim Croce, with Fleetwood Mac as the babysitter. From a small CT farm town, to  Nashville, to Burlington, I'd like to think my sound is a mosaic of all the people, places, and sounds I've soaked up.

I've always had a deep passion for climate and social justice, two themes at the center of my music. Music is a gentle way to welcome people into a discussion that can feel intimidating to engage in, such as how to mitigate the climate crisis and create an equitable world, with equal rights and opportunity for all. Music creates a space thats less about statistics, and all about feeling. Everyone can relate to feeling lonely, scared for an unknown future, or hopeful for a change we can't fully imagine. THIS is a club everyone can join! All you have to do is come as you are :)

However you stumbled on my music, WELCOME !!! I'm honored to have you here, and grateful for the opportunity to share my art.

Your support means the world to me,

I couldn't do it without you!

 Grace Palmer

XOXO
